  You could easily make this  project using  placemats.  Add pockets and handles to create a fun activity for children to take along  on long car rides or resturants. Create lots of different looks with applique designs using a variety of fabrics.  Velcro was used on the back of each piece and on her tummy to hold the clothing pieces in place.  The dolls are 5x7, the clothing fits the 4x4.
